Since our start in 1995 with just a handful of folks, we've grown into a tribe of passionate, dedicated, and hardworking team members.
As President and CEO, Terell is responsible for overseeing the day to day operations at MSNW. She ensures that the company is prepared and equipped to fulfill its contractual obligations. She also works closely with Branch Managers and takes an active role in assuring excellent service. Terell has worked for MSNW for over 20 years in almost every role at the company, from cleaning banks over the summer in college to Director of Sales and Marketing, Director of Human Resources and numerous operations roles. Terell is a Certified Building Service Executive (CBSE) and is a past board member of BSCAI and a current volunteer. When she’s not working, Terell enjoys volunteering and spending time with her husband and their three sons.
Kristina has been with MSNW since 2015 and is responsible for the strategic growth of the company. She specializes in relationship building, contract negotiation, organic sales and sales process management. She earned her CBSE last year. Previously, Kristina held customer service, account management and business development positions at Recology CleanScapes and ABM. She attended Whitman College where she earned a BA in Psychology.
Shane Talak joined MSNW in the fall of 2022 and has 16 years of experience in the landscape industry. He has a degree in Urban Horticulture with an emphasis in Design, Plant ID, Use, and Health. Shane has worked in areas of design, managing commercial maintenance, enhancing/installing, and managing a tree care division. He also has 20 years of experience in retail management in aftermarket automotive and outdoor recreation industries. Shane is in the process of obtaining an ISA certification as an arborist.
Wyatt is a seasoned professional working a decade in the nursery and landscaping industry. With an agricultural business degree from the University of Wyoming, Wyatt brings a unique blend of expertise to the MSNW team. Upon graduating he spent some time as the general manager of a retail nursery for 3 years. After relocating to Washington in 2022, he found his place at MSNW. Wyatt is currently in the process of earning his BSCAI Registered Building Service Manager Certification.
Steven Philo is an adaptive Business Development Manager with Five years of sales, marketing, and customer service experience. Steven is talented in cultivating strategic partnerships and expanding market reach across diverse industries. Skilled in identifying emerging opportunities and fostering long-term connections to exceed organizational objectives. When not working he enjoys spending time with friends and family and sports.
Holly Horton is an enthusiastic Business Development Manager with eight years of service industry sales experience. Holly enjoys acting as the liaisons by providing excellent customer service between the customer and the operations team to help facilitate the working relationship. When not at work Holly enjoys camping with her family.
Joseph has worked for MSNW for 3 years and has been in the industry for 14 years. He has always enjoyed working with people and being part of building and developing teams. Before joining the MSNW he served in the U.S. Army for 24 years. During his time in the Army, he worked as a pharmacy technician, a medic and he ended his career working as a Recruiter. When he is not working, he enjoys spending time with his family, fishing and woodworking.
